Meet Our Mentors

The extent to which DGWW can help Makers and others rests on the time, knowledge, skills and in some cases the tools and workshops our Mentors provide.  Our mentors have an interest and experience in woodworking and in helping others learn about it.  Our mentors are not paid for their services, and before working alone with minors they must obtain the same security clearances that are required to work in public schools in their state.

Our Mentors are listed on this page, in alphabetical order by last name.  Following the listing of members, you will find links to similar pages where you can learn about our Makers and our Sponsors.

Kyle Peck

Hi.  I’m Kyle.  I got into woodworking as a hobby rather late in life, and now that I’m retired I’m happy to share what I know and to help others learn and experience the pride that comes with a quality project.  The chair I built in the photo above is a sample of the “high end” of what I can do.  It was produced in a workshop I took under the guidance of Joe Graham who took a group step by step through the process in one hot week in Ohio.
