Our Work with Clearwater Conservancy

The mission of ClearWater Conservancy is to conserve and restore our natural resources through land conservation, water resources stewardship, and environmental outreach across central Pennsylvania.

DGWW appreciates the efforts of the Clearwater Conservancy and we have supported them in several fundraising efforts and by building and wildlife preservation projects as well. Those projects are summarized and documented with photos below.

Donated Auction Items for the 2026 "Arts and Chocolate" Fundraising Event

DGWW was invited to donate items to auction off during the 2026 auction. We donated A mixed wood cutting board, a mixed wood clip board, two large magnifying glasses, a cocobolo handled pizza cutter, and a rhodium turned wood pen. The items, shown in the gallery above, sold for a total of $310.

Clearwater Conservancy – Birdhouse Mounting Workshop - September, 2024

DGWW was invited to build bluebird houses to be mounted in a local wetland and then to hold a workhop and lead volunteers in mounting them.
